Start with a Deputy free trial
When you sign up for Deputy, you automatically get a free trial on the Core plan. This lets you explore Deputy's features and understand how it can work for your business without committing to a plan right away.
You can add extra days to your trial by completing tasks that teach you more about Deputy.
Note: After your trial period ends, your data will be frozen until you upgrade to a paid plan.
Decide which Plan and Add-ons are best for your business
After you’ve explored Deputy with your free trial, the next step is to select the Plan and Add-ons that best match your team size, workflow, and business needs. Deputy offers a range of base plans - Lite, Core, and Pro - so you can choose the option that fits your team. Take a look at our Pricing Plans and Deputy Pricing page to compare features and decide which option is right for your business.
You can also enhance your subscription with optional Add-ons available in your region, such as Deputy HR, Analytics+, Messaging+, and Payroll. Learn more about the Add-ons available at Deputy.
Choose your billing schedule
Once you've chosen on your Deputy Plan and Add-ons, it's time to decide on your preferred billing schedule. You can choose from Monthly or Annual subscriptions.
Monthly subscription
With a Monthly subscription, you'll be billed based on the total number of team members in your account during the previous month. You might prefer this option if you expect your team size to fluctuate throughout the year.
Annual subscription
Choose an annual subscription to secure a 10% discount. There are two billing options available for annual subscriptions. Both give you access to the same discount - the difference is how you prefer to pay.
- Annual Paid Upfront: You'll pay for the full 12 months in one lump sum payment. Your plan stays locked in for the full year.
- Annual Paid Monthly: You pay 12 monthly instalments and get the savings of annual pricing, with a 12 month commitment. Your plan stays locked in for the full year.

Note: If you choose an Annual subscription for your base plan, you pre-pay for a nominated number of users for a 12 month period, but you can also add extra users as you go along to take advantage of the same annual discounted rate.

When you're ready to purchase your paid Deputy account, visit www.once.deputy.com and follow our guide on how to upgrade to a paid plan from a free trial.
As you go through the checkout page, you can add your optional Add-ons and any promo codes before finalizing your order. You’ll be prompted to enter billing and payment details to confirm your purchase.
After successful payment, you’ll see the welcome message below and gain full access to your paid Deputy plan!
