1. Manage locations and pay centres
If the Access column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can View all locations, pay centres, and the location positions in the organization hierarchy.
If the Add, Edit, Delete column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can Add, Edit and Delete locations, pay centres and all location positions in the organization hierarchy.
2. Edit location details and settings
If the Permission column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can edit location details and settings of any location assigned to them. There is no Add, Edit, Delete column setting for this permission because the permission itself grants the ability to edit.
Note: This permission does not allow someone in this role to create new locations or delete locations. To allow someone to add or delete locations, see the above setting: Manage locations and pay centres - Add, Edit, Delete.
3. Create Entity
If the Permission column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can create a new business entity in Deputy.
4. Edit Entity
If the Permission column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can edit existing entities in Deputy.
5. Manage areas
If the Access column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can view the areas for their assigned location(s) in the organization.
If the Add, Edit, Delete column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can create a new area, edit the area details and can delete an area from a location.
6. Manage employment terms
If the Access column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can view Pay Conditions, Leave Conditions, Standard Hours and Employment Terms.
If the Add, Edit, Delete column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can Add, Edit and Delete Pay Conditions, Leave Conditions, Standard Hours and Employment Terms.
Note: This permission does not include the ability to manage team member pay details. To enable or disable a role from viewing and editing team member pay details, see the Manage Team Member Pay Details permission.
7. Manage training requirements
If the Access column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can view training requirements for team members working in each area of a location within the organization.
If the Add, Edit, Delete column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can manage the training modules available with the organization, including creating new training requirements, editing training modules and deleting existing training requirements.

8. Manage schedule day settings
If the Access column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can view the blocking time off, public holidays and shift notes in the schedule settings dialog, but the team member cannot make changes.
If the Add, Edit, Delete column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can block time off requests, set public holidays and can create shift notes in the schedule.

9. Manage access levels and permissions
If the Access column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can view the access levels and permissions settings within business settings, but they cannot make changes.
If the Add, Edit, Delete column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can configure roles in the organization, the associated permissions for each role and each role’s position with the organization hierarchy.
Note: A green check in the Add, Edit Delete column means that anyone in this role can create or delete any role in the business and can rearrange the position of any role within the management structure.
10. Manage classic reports and metrics
If the Access column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can view all reports under the Analytics tab.
If the Access column for this role contains a red X, and the team member in this role has reports assigned in the Apps & Reports tab of role settings, they will be able to view the assigned reports only.
If the Add, Edit, Delete column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can manage classic reports on the Analytics tab and can manage metrics in Business Insights.
Note: To hide the Analytics tab for a particular role, disable the Access column for Manage classic reports and metrics and disable the Access column for Manage Analytics.
11. Manage analytics
If the Access column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can view Analytics under the Analytics tab.
If the Add, Edit, Delete column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can create, edit and delete analytics reports.
Note: Enabling the Access or Add, Edit, Delete column for this permission will force the following permissions to also be enabled:
- Manage schedule
- View cost on schedule
- View cost of peers and above
- View team member details
- Mange team member pay details
- Manage team members from all roles
12. Manage group tasks for areas
If the Access column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can access group tasks for the locations that they manage.
If the Add, Edit, Delete column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can create and manage tasks and assign them to an entire group of team members.
