1. View team member sensitive details and documents
If the Access column for this role’s permission contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can view existing sensitive personal and pay details and documents of their subordinates within the locations that they manage.
2. Manage sensitive team member details
If the Permission column for this role contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can click Edit to add new sensitive personal and payroll details for their subordinates within the locations they manage.
With the Manage permission enabled and with the View permission disabled, a person in this role can add or update any relevant fields, but they cannot view the details once they are saved and stored. This combination of permissions allows someone in this role to quickly assist a team member in adding or updating sensitive data without giving them visibility over existing sensitive information.
Note for both of these permissions:
- Changing the “Sensitive personal data and documents” settings on the People tab of Business Settings will also change these settings in the Permission table.
- See Adjusting the sensitive personal data and documents permission levels to learn more about managing sensitive data.
