1. Approve date range only of leave requests
If the Access column for this role’s permission contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can approve the date range of leave requests of team members that they manage. If the role only has the date range approval, the leave request will go through a 2-step leave approval process.
In addition, a green check mark in this column allows a team member in this role to add Availability or Unavailability for team members that they manage.
Note: This permission will become disabled if the permission to “View team member details”, under the Manage Team Member Details in People section, is disabled.
2. Approve leave requests
If the Access column for this role’s permission contains a green check mark, a team member in this role can assign, change or approve the leave type as well as the date and time of leave requests made by team members that they manage.
Note: Enabling the Access column of “Approve date range only of leave requests” will allow you to enable this permission.
