What questions can this report help me answer?
- Which area, location or team member is consistently arriving late, leaving early or not showing up for shifts.

What is in the Attendance & absence report?
Filters
The summary stats and all charts and tables in this report will be acted upon using the built-in drop-down menus to select specific:
- Shift start date (This defaults to the last 30 days but you can select to filter a specific date range if required)
- Shift location
- Shift location status (Active or Archived locations)
- Shift area
- Tolerance (Set a grace period for late arrivals or early departures. Team members clocking in or out within the tolerance won't be flagged as late arrival or early departure in the report. This defaults to 15 min but can be edited.)
- Team member name
- Team member status (Employed or Archived)
Summary stats of No shows, Late arrivals and Early departures
The first section of the report shows a summary of the number of:
- No shows - the number of instances where team members didn't clock in or out of their shifts (and as a % of all shifts)
- Late arrivals - the number of instances where team members clock in after their scheduled shift start time (and as a % of all shifts)
- Early departures - the number of instances where team members didn't lock in or out of their shifts (and as a % of all shifts).
Note: The summary stats will be affected by the selections made by the filters at the top of the report.

The chart will default to show data from the last 30 days with a 15 min tolerance for Late arrivals and Early departures but this can be edited as required using the filters.

A bar chart displaying the locations in your organisation with the most No shows for the conditions selected in the drop-down filters above.
The chart will default to show data from the last 30 days with a 15 min tolerance for Late arrivals and Early departures but this can be edited as required using the filters.

A table displaying both a count and % calculation of No shows, Late arrivals and Early departures by Location and Area.
The table will default to show data from the last 30 days with a 15 min tolerance for Late arrivals and Early departures but this can be edited as required using the filters.
The table of No shows, Late arrivals and Early departures by location and area contains the following data fields:
- Location / Area
- Total scheduled shifts
- No shows (shifts not clocked in or out)
- % No shows (No shows / Total scheduled shifts x 100)
- Late arrivals (not clocked into the shift within the tolerance set by the filter)
- % Late arrivals (Late arrivals / Total scheduled shifts x 100)

Table of all shift and timesheet detail
A table displaying all shift and timesheet detail in the context of attendance.
The table will default to show data from the last 30 days with a 15 min tolerance for Late arrivals and Early departures but this can be edited as required using the filters.
There is a check box (ticked by default) that shows shifts with issues only (ie. shifts with No shows, Late arrival or Early departure). Untick the check box to show all shifts in the filtered range.
The table of all shift and timesheet detail contains the following data fields:
- Team member name
- Shift Start Time YYYY- MM-DD HH:MM:SS
- Timesheet Start time YYYY- MM-DD HH:MM:SS
- Shift End Time YYYY- MM-DD HH:MM:SS
- Timesheet End time YYYY- MM-DD HH:MM:SS
- No Show (Yes or No)
- Late Arrival (Yes or No)
- Late Arrival Minutes
- Early Departure (Yes or No)
- Early Departure Minutes
- Shift Location
- Shift Area
Note: If a Location or Area has been deleted previously, but shifts were worked in those locations or areas then the timesheets will still appear in the reports showing as "Dlt-Area name" to preserve historical data records.
