What is Analytics?
Analytics is Deputy's new reporting and analytics tool, allowing managers to view and analyse scheduling and timesheet data like never before.
Deputy Analytics allows managers to view pre-configured reports and visualisations as well as providing the ability to build custom reports to cater to your business needs.
Managers can schedule reports to be run and delivered on specific dates or at intervals of their choosing.
Managers can track, measure and analyse their own business data in a way that is specific to each business. This assists with making better business decisions based on data and evidence rather than assumptions or opinions.
Who can access reports?
For Deputy Analytics, there are two different levels of access:
Analytics
Deputy users with an access level of System Administrator, Advisor or Location Manager can access the Reports tab in Deputy.
These users can perform the following for all included Deputy pre-configured reports only:
- access reports and use filters to further review the data
- export reports in various file formats
- send reports via email in various file formats
- schedule the delivery of a report via email
- set an alert
Note: access to the Shift Pulse report requires an add-on subscription to Deputy HR.
Analytics+
In addition to the above, Deputy users with an access level of System Administrator in a business who has subscribed to Analytics+ can also create custom reports and visualisations.
For all included and custom reports, System Administrators with access to Analytics reports can:

Other FAQs
Can I still access the existing Deputy Reports?
The existing legacy Deputy reports will continue to be available in your account. Eventually, these reports will be deprecated once a suitable replacement for each report is available within Analytics.
What if I sign up for Analytics+ and create custom reports but later cancel the Analytics+ subscription? Will I lose the custom reports I created?
If you sign up for Analytics+ you have the ability to create and save custom reports.
If you cancel the Analytics+ subscription you will lose access to these custom reports, however they will not be deleted. If you choose to resubscribe to Analytics+ again, the customs reports you created will be available again.
As a System Administrator, if I create a custom report in my account, who else will have access to it?
Only the System Administrator who creates a custom report will have access to it in the My Reports section but they may export it or email it to others.
