This article is intended for System Administrators on Enterprise accounts.
For Deputy accounts on Enterprise, or on plans with customized permission roles, access to Analytics will be driven by the following permissions:
For a user to access Analytics in Deputy they will need to have access to the permission:
- Manage analytics ✅
Once this permission is enabled the following permissions will also automatically be enabled for this user:
- Manage schedule ✅
- View cost on schedule ✅
- View cost of peers and above ✅
- View team member details ✅
- Manage team member pay details ✅
- Manage team members from all roles ✅
Note: if a user's role who has access to Manage analytics is later updated to remove permission to any of:
- View cost on schedule ❌
- View cost of peers and above ❌
- Manage team member pay details ❌
- Manage team members from all roles ❌
then the user will automatically also lose access to the permission:
- Manage analytics ❌
View & edit access on Analytics+
By default, only Deputy users with an access level of System Administrator in a business who has subscribed to Analytics+ will have access to create custom reports and visualizations. This is driven by the Add, Edit, Delete permission to the right or the View permission.
