Deputy HR is an optional add-on that helps you manage key people processes in one place. Use it to hire and onboard team members, manage employee documents, and support engagement across your organization.

  • Target audience: This article is for System Administrators who want to learn about the Deputy HR add-on and decide whether it’s right for their business.
  • Plan restrictions: Deputy HR is an add-on subscription separate from Deputy's standard pricing plans. However, if your organization has the All-in-One bundle, Deputy HR is included in your plan.

What does Deputy HR include?

Deputy HR includes the following features to help you streamline your hiring and HR processes:

  • Hire to create job listings and manage candidates.
  • Onboarding to set up and manage new-starter onboarding.
  • Documents to request, store, and manage employee documents. 
  • Engagement to support employee engagement activities. Get access to advanced features including Kudos+, Shift Pulse+ and Performance management.
  • Leave management+ (US and UK only) to manage employee leave requests and balances.

How do I trial Deputy HR?

To see if Deputy HR is right for your business, all new and existing Deputy customers are able to sign up for a 30-day free trial of Deputy HR that will give you access to all aspects of:

To trial Deputy HR, you'll be presented with the following page when you click buttons on the People tab for Onboarding, Documents, Culture or Hire.

Click Try free for 30 days.

At the end of the 30 day period you will be asked to subscribe to Deputy HR if you wish to continue using it.

 

What is the cost of Deputy HR?

You can purchase Deputy HR as a Monthly or Annual add-on subscription.

FAQs

Who can subscribe to Deputy HR for my organization?

System Administrators can subscribe to Deputy HR for their Deputy organization. Deputy HR is available as an add-on subscription, or included with the All-in-One bundle.
 

Can I purchase individual Deputy HR features separately (eg. Hire only)?

No. Deputy HR is purchased as one add-on subscription and includes access to its available features. You cannot purchase individual Deputy HR features separately.
 

Can I use Deputy HR to store documents for team members in our organization who are not currently using Deputy for scheduling and/or timesheets?

No, you can only store documents for team members that have been added to your Deputy account as a user as part of our regular Deputy plans.
