Export Failed Employee Invalid Deputy Pay Rate Library export code, ensure a valid export code is provided.
When exporting timesheets from Deputy to ADP you receive the following error:

Export Failed Employee does not have a valid employment term setup in Deputy.
When exporting timesheets from Deputy to ADP you receive the following error:
Export Failed. Employee XXX - Employee does not have a valid employment term setup in Deputy.
Cause | Solution |
The employee does not have pay rates set in Deputy | Follow the steps detailed in Set up a team member's pay rates to ensure the affected employee has a pay rate set before exporting timesheets. |
Export Failed The date range selected was not found in ADP as an open Pay Frequency.
When exporting timesheets from Deputy to ADP you receive the following error:
Export Failed: The date range selected (XXX ~ XXX) was not found in ADP as an open Pay Frequency. Please check ADP's available Pay Frequency date range and select the same range in Deputy before trying again. Current Pay Frequencies in ADP : (XXX ~ XXX)
Cause | Solution |
You are exporting timesheets for a period that does not match the ADP pay period |
When exporting timesheets ensure you select the date period in Deputy that matches the ADP pay period. Note: If you have already processed the pay run that covers the ADP pay period, process the payment directly in ADP rather than exporting the timesheets from Deputy. You can use the timesheets in Deputy as a reference only. |
Export Failed ADP Connectivity Error: Payroll File Number is invalid.
When exporting timesheets from Deputy to ADP you receive the following error:
Connectivity Error : payrollFileNumber:XXXXXX is invalid. payrollFileNumber:XXXXXX

The employee Deputy Payroll ID does not match the ADP Timeclock ID |
Use the steps detailed in How to Add or Update a Payroll ID to update the Payroll ID in Deputy and ensure it matches the ADP Timeclock ID. |
You are trying to export to the wrong company code after selecting ADP when exporting timesheets |
When you are exporting timesheets and select ADP ensure that select the correct Company Code to Export to option from the dropdown, then click Export. |
Export Failed ADP Connectivity Error: No such replaceable pay data found.
When exporting timesheets from Deputy to ADP you receive the following error:
Export Failed. ADP Connectivity Error: No such replaceable pay data found.

When exporting timesheets from Deputy to ADP you receive the following error:
Connectivity Error: We’re sorry, but Marketplace Connector for Pay Data Input feature isn’t available. It looks like you have a different time management system integrated with Payroll.
Cause | Solution |
ADP Time and Attendance is enabled. From the ADP side, you can only have one time product active: Deputy OR ADP Time and Attendance |
Contact ADP and have them disable ADP Time and Attendance on your account. |
Export Failed ADP Connectivity Error: You cannot successfully add a pay data batch
When exporting timesheets from Deputy to ADP you receive the following error:
Export Failed. ADP Connectivity Error: You cannot successfully add a pay data batch unless the payroll cycle status = 'Entering Payroll Information' or 'Correcting Input', eventContext/payrollGroupCode

Log into your ADP system and create a new payroll cycle |
