Deputy Time Clock (iPad/Android)

The new Deputy Time Clock app is the future of Deputy’s time clock experience. It can be installed on an iPad or Android tablet, providing a unified experience across devices. Key features not available in the legacy apps include:

• Micro-scheduling support

• Multi-location kiosk setup

• Enhanced shift visibility

Deputy aims to bring all features from the legacy apps into this app, making it the recommended solution for workplaces planning for a future-ready, consistent experience across all devices.

Note: Before discontinuing the Deputy Web Time Clock, the Deputy Time Clock will also be available via URL.

Deputy legacy apps (discontinuing)

Below are all the legacy kiosk and time clock apps. Please note that some features in these legacy apps have yet to be included in the new Deputy Time Clock app.

Unless you rely on any of the features below, we recommend you use the Deputy Time Clock, as it will continue to roll out new features, while all other apps are no longer in feature development stage.
 

Deputy Kiosk - Work Time Clock (iPad)

The Deputy Kiosk - Work Time Clock app is a legacy option for workplaces using iPads. It includes features that are not yet available in the new Deputy Time Clock app, such as:

The Deputy Employee Time Clock app provides a fixed time clock on Android tablets. It includes features that are not yet available in the new Deputy Time Clock app, such as:

• Basic employee self-service (task management only)

• Voice clock-in/out (touchless login)
   

Deputy Web Time Clock

The Web Time Clock allows employees to clock in and out from a shared computer using a browser. Features not yet available in the new Deputy Time Clock app include:

• Basic employee self-service (task management only)

Note: The Deputy Time Web Time Clock will not be discontinued entirely. It will instead be directly replaced with the new Deputy Time Clock, and no changes will need to be made from a user standpoint.

Feature comparison

We recommend using the new Deputy Time Clock app whenever possible. It provides a consistent experience on iOS and Android and replaces the older Kiosk and Time Clock apps.
