The Deputy Kiosk Time Clock can be used at your workplace for team members to clock on and clock off. It is a free download and set up generally only takes a few minutes to get it going.

Set up the Deputy Kiosk Time Clock app on your iPad
Before you begin
What you will need to set up the Deputy Kiosk Time clock :
- iPad or iPhone running iOS 15.0 or later (we do recommend running the latest iOS version)
- Consistent access to the internet and power for the iPad.
- It is recommended to configure the iPad not to lock the screen or go to sleep after a specific time. On the iPad go to Settings > Display and Brightness > Autolock > Never.
- A well-lit location to install the Kiosk
- During set up of the Deputy Kiosk Time Clock (iOS) app you may have to allow permission for the app to access your device camera.
- A Deputy user with an access level of System Administrator or a Location Manager to set up the Kiosk. Employees or Supervisors cannot set up a Kiosk. Once the Deputy Kiosk has been set up by a System Administrator or Location Manager it is a one-time action. They do not need to log in daily or regularly. The Kiosk will then be ready for your team members to clock in 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Install TestFlight and download the Deputy Kiosk Time Clock (iOS)
- Install the TestFlight app from the Apple app store on the iOS or iPadOS device that you’ll use for testing.

Download the new Deputy Kiosk Time Clock (iOS) using this link via Testflight and follow the instructions.
- If you're a new tester for the app, tap Accept, then tap Install to download the app to your device. Note: If a compatible build is available for your device, an Install button will appear, allowing you to accept the invitation and install the compatible build.
- If you’re a returning tester, tap Update or Open.
Set up the Deputy Kiosk Time Clock app on your iPad
1. After you have downloaded the Deputy Kiosk Time Clock app to your iPad, open it and tap Log in to Deputy.
2. Enter the email address and password associated with your System Administrator or Location manager account then tap Log in.
3. Enter the name of your Kiosk Time Clock. Select your Deputy business and select which Deputy Locations this Kiosk Time Clock will apply to.
4. Select which of your locations you will allow your team members to clock into from this Kiosk Time Clock then tap Done. You can setup one Kiosk Time Clock App for multiple selected locations if they are within the same timezone.
5. Select how you want your team members to authenticate themselves. Select from:
- PIN only - Team members will have to enter a four-digit PIN to unlock the Kiosk Time Clock OR
- Face Unlock or PIN - Team members can choose to allow the camera to authenticate their identity by comparing their face to their profile photo or they can still use the four-digit PIN. Note: if you choose this option team members will still have to individually opt-in for the first time before the Deputy Kiosk Time Clock can use the Face Unlock feature to authenticate them to unlock the Kiosk Time Clock.
Once you have chosen your settings, tap on Create time clock.
Once your Kiosk Time clock is set up your team members can log in to start clocking in and out for their shifts.
