| Note: From October 1st, we're introducing new plans that better reflect how our customers use Deputy: Lite, Core, and Pro. If you're an existing customer, look out for an email soon with all the details you’ll need. Learn more about the new plans and what this change means for you. |
Messaging+ is a premium add-on that gives teams greater control and flexibility in how they communicate. It unlocks advanced messaging features including message pinning, poll creation, higher group chat limits, extended message history, and access-level based permissions.
For Lite and Core customers, this optional add-on subscription is completely separate from your current Deputy subscription. For Pro plan customers, Messaging+ is automatically included in your plan.
How do I subscribe to Messaging+
System Administrators will be prompted to subscribe to Messaging+ if they click on a paid feature in the Messaging app.
If you haven't trialled Messaging+ before, you'll be given a free 30-day trial period.
To continue using Messaging+ after your trial, System Administrators can subscribe in the Billing section of their account.
- Log into once.deputy.com and click Settings on the business you would like to subscribe to Messaging+.
2. On the Subscriptions tab, find Messaging+ in the Explore add-ons section, and click Subscribe.
Tip: Don't have a Subscriptions tab in your account? Read more.
3. Review the projected subscription costs in the Order summary section, then click Purchase to confirm your Messaging+ subscription.
Why can't I subscribe to Messaging+?
The Messaging+ 'Subscribe' button will not be shown in your account if:
- you are an Enterprise customer. In this case, please contact your Account Manager to subscribe to Messaging+.
- you have a custom price for your Deputy plan. In this case, please contact your Customer Success Manager to subscribe to Messaging+.
- you have subscribed to Deputy through a third-party billing service. Xero or Apple app customers will need to cancel their Deputy subscription through Xero or the Apple app store and manage their subscription directly with Deputy to subscribe to Messaging+. Customers who have subscribed to Deputy through other third-party billing services will need to contact Support to subscribe to Messaging+.
Note: only users with the access permission level of System Administrator have access to subscribe to Messaging+.
