How are team members' pay rates updated in Payroll (AU)? – Deputy Help Center

If you need to update your team member's pay rates in Deputy Payroll, there are a number of ways you can do this:

Update a team member's pay rates individually in their employee profile
Update multiple team members with the same pay rate using a bulk action in the People tab.
Update many team members' pay rates at once using the bulk update tool.
It is also possible to update the pay rate directly in the payslip by clicking on the pencil icon on the payment line you wish to edit. However, this would not be considered best practice since the pay rate change would only apply to this payslip, and the employee profile should be considered the source of truth for the team member's correct pay rate.
