Important notes before using this award

These are Deputy's default pay rules. To customise them, use the Pay Rate Builder.
Averaging of Ordinary hours: Deputy cannot handle averaging ordinary hours over multiple periods.
Leave Loading: Manually add annual leave loading to timesheets, as Deputy won't include this automatically.
Higher Duties: This is done through Pay by Area.
Part Time employees default to 38 hours a week. To customise this, use Regular Working Hours.
Minimum payment for OT: Deputy does not accomodate minimum payment for overtime. You must check and apply the appropriate OT accordingly.
Classification Selection: Certain pay rules are triggered depending on the Classification selected on pay rate assignment. If no classification is assigned, team members are defaulted to a level one interpretation. It is strongly recommended to select a classification to keep rates and multipliers up to date.

To set up the award, select an employment type and the appropriate award template. Choose a classification to automatically populate the base pay rate according to the pay guide. If you pay above the award, you can manually override this rate. Alternatively, select None to enter a custom base rate manually.
