This article is for users with System Administrator and Location Manager access levels. It covers how to add, remove, or set leave entitlements for multiple team members at once, helping you manage large-scale leave changes quickly and accurately.
Pre-requisites for managing leave entitlements in bulk
Before you can bulk add, remove, and set leave entitlements for your team, you'll first need to ensure:
You have Location Manager or System Administrator access to your Deputy account.
You have configured your leave policies.
You have set a pay rate for your team members.
Add, remove, or set leave entitlements to multiple team members in a bulk action
To bulk manage leave entitlements for multiple team members:

Go to the People tab and use the filters to display the team members you want to manage leave entitlements for. Then, use the checkboxes next to each team member to make your selection.
Tip: To select all, click the checkbox to the left of the Name column.
2. Click Bulk actions, then select Manage leave entitlements.
Note: The Bulk actions button will appear frozen unless you've selected team members using the checkboxes.
3. From the Manage leave entitlements window, select either:
Add leave entitlements
Remove leave entitlements
Replace leave entitlements
4. Select the leave entitlement(s) you'd like to apply to the team members from the dropdown list and click Add / Remove / Replace in the bottom-right corner.
Note: Leave entitlement(s) must be selected before you can click Add / Remove / Replace.
The bulk leave entitlement actions will now be applied to the selected employees.
