What's new in the Deputy Time Clock app

Key improvements include:

• Consistent features across all platforms with the same functionality regardless of device, i.e., iOS, Android.
• The ability to set up a single kiosk that can be used for multiple locations within the same time zone.
• Micro-scheduling support, including the ability to view and clock in/out of scheduled shifts with a shift plan.
• Enhanced shift visibility helping staff to understand their scheduled shifts before clocking in.
• Facial recognition login with timesheet adjustments.

Features to come

The following features from the legacy Time Clock/Kiosk apps will not be available at launch but will be added in future updates:

• No Newsfeed Access:
  • Employees cannot view company news or announcements through the Deputy Time Clock app.
• No Offline Mode:
  • The Deputy Time Clock app requires an active internet connection to function.
  • Clock-ins/outs cannot be processed without network connectivity.
  • Impact: Locations with unreliable internet will need to ensure stable connectivity if using the Deputy Time Clock app.
• Employee Self-Service Features:
  • No shift swapping or offering shifts to other employees.
  • No unavailability or leave requests.
  • No task management capabilities.
• Voice & Accessibility
  • Voice clock-in/out (touchless) only supports login, not actual time tracking
  • Limited multi-language support
