What are Team documents?
|
Team documents in Deputy allows you to electronically collect and manage any documents you need to collect from your team members at any time they are working in your team. If you already use new hire onboarding (AU and UK) with Deputy you will be familiar with using Deputy's online onboarding form to request and collect copies of relevant documents from your team members. Now, you also have the ability to request and store electronic copies of documents from any team member at any time, not just new hires. You can also send documents to team members to have them electronically signed and uploaded to their profile in Deputy. |

Who can use Team documents in Deputy?
The ability to request and manage team members' documents is only available to users with the permission level of Advisor, System Administrator or Location Manager (for team members in the locations they manage).
If you are on a Deputy plan with the ability customize access and permissions, you can adjust those permissions here. Enterprise users can also control the access permissions for team documents.
Note:
- only System Administrators are able to subscribe to Deputy HR.
- Advisors can send and upload documents to Deputy but can not request, view or download documents.
Accessing Team documents in Deputy
Documents are managed on the employee profile page of each team member, located on the People tab in Deputy, or via the Document card on the app dashboard.
What size and type of documents can be uploaded?
Documents can be uploaded to Deputy as PDF or image files such as JPG or PNG but must be no larger than 20MB in size per file.
