Hire lets you publish your organization's job listings on a dedicated career page. When you connect your Deputy account to JobTarget, you can publish the same job listing on over 25,000 global job boards, including your region's most popular shift worker boards.
Connecting Hire to JobTarget
First, you must connect Hire to JobTarget to publish the jobs you create on Hire to a job board through JobTarget. You can do so from the Hire settings page or when publishing a new job.

From the People tab, click Settings from the left-hand side menu and scroll down to the Job Boards section at the bottom. Click Connect to connect to JobTarget.

When publishing a new job listing, you'll be prompted to select where that job will be published. If you want the job posted to a JobBoard via JobTarget, click Connect on the JobTarget row and follow the pop-up instructions to create a company ID.
Publishing jobs to JobTarget
Once you have created and published your job listing to your Deputy Careers page, you can publish it to job boards via JobTarget.
On the Job listings tab, if you open any published job you will be shown a read-only version of your job listing. To publish via JobTarget, click the pencil icon.
Next to the JobTarget logo, click Publish.
You will then be presented with two options for publishing the job to JobTarget. You can publish with the option for candidates to:
- Apply Via Deputy (default)
- Job board easy apply
All candidates will flow into Hire, no matter which application journey you choose. Select the application method and click Next.
Post job listings to your chosen job boards via JobTarget
JobTarget Marketplace has over 25,000 job sites where you can post your job listings. You can find the right job site for your job by:
- A simple search
- Selecting from popular sites
- Automated programmatic advertising
- Utilizing existing job site contracts and subscriptions
- Adding your preferred job sites to your favorites
How do I use JobTarget Marketplace?
Post your job to the Marketplace in 4 simple steps:
- Select a job
- Go to Marketplace and choose the sites you want to advertise to
- Click on Next and confirm your job details and any additional information required by the job sites
- Review your order and check out
Managing an advertisement placed via JobTarget
In Job Listings, select the job you want to manage and click the pencil icon next to job boards. Next to JobTarget click Manage.
Updates take approximately 24 hours to be sent out to the intended job board(s).
How do I stop a job ad?
Use the search bar in Job Manager to locate the job posting you would like to remove or stop on external job sites. When you locate the job, click on the three dots on the right side of the job card and select the Stop Job button from the drop-down menu.
