What does the JobAdder Deputy integration do?
When you connect JobAdder to Deputy the integration will sync your employees in JobAdder to Deputy to manage their scheduling.
Note:
- The integration type is a one-way connection in the direction of JobAdder to Deputy.
- The information sync from JobAdder to Deputy will be triggered by the event of placing the candidate.
- Users that are created in Deputy after syncing from JobAdder are active and invited to use Deputy via email.

How to connect JobAdder to Deputy
1. Ensure you have a Deputy account set up and have your login details handy as a user with System Administrator access permissions.
2. In JobAdder login and navigate to Account > Settings > Apps & Add Ons > Deputy.
3. Click Install.
4. In the JobAdder Account section, click Connect. Enter your JobAdder username and password. In the Deputy Account section, make sure OAuth 2.0 is selected, then click Connect.
5. Enter your Deputy username and password.
Using the JobAdder to Deputy integration
1. In JobAdder, place the candidate you wish to send to Deputy.
2. The placement record data will be automatically sent to your Deputy account and will display as a new 'Employee' record.
Note: If the placement record from JobAdder contains a new location that doesn't exist in Deputy, the location will be added to your Deputy account.
Note: Once a record is created in Deputy, a Deputy notification email is sent to the email address set in your Deputy account. No note is automatically created in JobAdder.
