What devices will the Android Time Clock work on?
The Android Time Clock can be installed on Android phones or tablets running Android 5.1 or higher and have a minimum screen size of 4 inches.

The Android Time Clock can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
What can I do with the Time Clock?
Team members at that work location can log in to:

check shift details

start/end shifts and breaks on the Time Clock.
System Administrators and Location Managers for that location can configure the Time Clock to require team members to take a photo when they clock on and off.
Can I set up ONE Time Clock for ALL locations?
Yes, you can set up any Deputy Time clock for Android so that it lists the team members from every location in your Deputy account.
By default when you set up a Deputy Time Clock for Android it will only be configured for the Location you specified during set up. However, System Administrators and Location Managers are able to amend the settings of a Time Clock so that it is set up for all locations in a Deputy account.
To do this you will need to:
1. Click on Edit Settings for the Location where you have already set up the Deputy Time Clock for Android.
2. Select the Timesheets tab on the left-hand side and click on Manage time clocks.
3. Identify the Time Clock you wish to change to all locations. You can do this by checking the name you used when you set up the Time Clock and then click on the pencil and paper icon to Edit the configuration of the Time Clock.
4. Tick the check box for All locations and click Save.
5. Now go to your Deputy Time Clock for Android app and pull down on the list of team member names to refresh the Time Clock and the names of team members from all locations in your Deputy account will appear.
Can I set up MULTIPLE Time Clocks for ONE location?
Yes, you can set up multiple Time Clocks for a single location using different devices. Just follow the instructions to set up the Time Clock on each device.
Does the Android Time Clock support offline mode?
The Time Clock does not support offline mode, so a constant internet connection is required to use the Time Clock.
Why doesn't my device sleep/dim after inactivity when the Android Time Clock app is open?
The app operates in Kiosk Mode which automatically prevents devices from sleeping and dimming.
Can I use the Android Time Clock in portrait view? How about landscape?
The Deputy Time Clock works with the device mounted in both Landscape and Portrait view.
The Time Clock does not support split-screen.
Does the Android Time Clock support Break Planning?
Yes, the Android Time Clock uses the rules around Break Planning to ensure employees are taking the correct breaks as scheduled.
