What is Kudos?
Kudos is a way for team members to share recognition, using Deputy Messaging. The message appears in the group chat, where others can see it, react with emojis, and leave comments.
Team members can use Kudos to acknowledge contributions like completing a project, helping a teammate, or solving a problem.
Managers can use Kudos as a tool to increase team engagement and morale.
Note: Kudos can only be sent in location-based group chats. This keeps recognition visible to the whole team and helps prevent potential misuse in direct messages or smaller group chats (for example, repeatedly sending someone Kudos to boost leaderboard positions).
On the web app
Find the Communications tab in the top navigation bar, then click on it to open a drop-down menu.
Select Messaging.
In the Messaging view, open the group chat that the team member is part of.
Note: Kudos can be sent in group chats and location-based channels. It can't be sent in one-on-one conversations.
Type / in the message bar, then select Kudos.
Type @ and the name of the team member you want to recognize. Add a short message of recognition, then tap Send.
Note: Typing a team member’s first name will bring up their full name, which you can click to select.

Are there any limits to the Kudos I can send

What is Kudos+
Kudos+ is part of the optional add-on Deputy HR subscription and provides additional flexibility to customize the setup, use and reporting on team engagement with Kudos.
