Introduction to Deputy Classic Reports (Discontinuing)

Note: From October 1st, 2025, we introduced new plans that better reflect how our customers use Deputy: Lite, Core, and Pro. If you're an existing customer, look out for an email with all the details you’ll need. Learn more about the new plans and what this change means for you.
Note: Access to Report Builder (Beta) and most Classic Reports is scheduled to be discontinued in late 2026. Customers should instead use our improved reporting tool, Deputy Analytics.  If you’re on a termed contract, you’ll keep access to Report Builder until the contract term expires.
Deputy Reports allow you to collate information and create snapshots of particular areas of your business.

Who can access reports?

Users with an access level of System Administrator or Location Manager can access the Analytics tab.

Note that Location Managers can only see information for the relevant team members at locations they manage in Deputy.

 

How to access a report

System Administrators and Location Managers can access Classic Reports by logging into the Deputy website and clicking on Analytics in the navigation bar.

The menu on the left-hand side of the screen lists Deputy's pre-configured default reports.

Can't see Analytics?

The location of Deputy’s Classic Reports (discontinuing) may vary depending on your account signup date.

  • If your account was created before 15 April 2025, a View classic reports link appears at the top of the landing page.

  • If your account was created after 15 April 2025,  you'll find a Classic reports section at the bottom of the page.

Reports available

On the Reports page, you see the default reports that are available to run.

To see the report results you can select the desired date ranges, filters and options then view the results within Deputy or click on the printer icon to generate physical paper copies or PDFs if necessary.
