| Note: From October 1st, we're introducing new plans that better reflect how our customers use Deputy: Lite, Core, and Pro. If you're an existing customer, look out for an email soon with all the details you’ll need. Learn more about the new plans and what this change means for you. |
Shifts that have been left running for 23 hours since clock in are automatically closed by Deputy and the timesheet time is amended to the scheduled finish time (or 1 hour after clock on in the case of an unscheduled shift that has been left running for 23 hours).
If your organization doesn't want to wait for that 23 hour period to elapse to close any timesheets, for example, you know that everyone should be clocked off by 6pm each day, users with System Administrator and Advisor access can set up an optional Deputy extension to end any shifts still running at a specified time of day or night.
You can configure the extension to act:
- on the hour for any hour of the day or night.
- for all shifts at selected locations or all locations
- excluding shifts in selected areas
