This article outlines how to navigate Deputy's Weekly overtime report. You can use this report to view pay rate multiplier values and other key inputs your payroll team needs to perform overtime tax calculations outside of Deputy.

Where can I find the Weekly overtime report?
The Weekly overtime report lets you view pay rate multiplier values, overtime hours worked, and associated costs across your locations, areas, and team members.
To find the report:
1. Go to the Analytics tab, then click View all reports.
2. In the Reports list on the left-hand side, scroll down to the Costs category and select Weekly overtime.
What is in the Weekly overtime report?
Filters
The table in this report will be acted upon using the built-in drop-down menus to select:
- Timesheet date
- Pay rate (Note: Applicable overtime rates are pre-selected for you by default. If you have created any custom overtime rates, you'll need to select them from the drop-down menu).
- Pay rate type
- Pay rate tag
- Timesheet location
- Timesheet area
- Employment type
- Pay centre
- Team members
Table of Weekly overtime
A table of periodic overtime details based on the filters applied from the section above.
The table of Weekly overtime contains the following data fields:
- Team Member
- Employment Type (ie. Full-time, Part-time etc.)
- Pay Rate Name
- Pay Rate Multiplier Value
- Total Hours / Units
- Total Cost
- Taxable Overtime Portion
- Pay Rate Export Code
How do I export the report and share with my payroll team / payroll provider?
You can share the report using one of these methods:
Export a file to download: Choose your preferred export format for your payroll provider. For full reports the options are Excel, PDF (portrait or landscape), or PNG.
Email a report: Share the report directly from the Deputy platform by entering the email addresses of the intended recipients
Export file via a webhook: Export specific visualizations as files to a public webhook endpoint.
Important note: It is the responsibility of your payroll provider, not Deputy, to ensure the accuracy of reporting and tax deductions. Deputy is not the final source of truth for employee pay or tax calculations. We recommend consulting your payroll provider for guidance on reporting options and compliance requirements.
