What is the new pricing?
Deputy is making changes to its pricing structure on 1st June 2024. Here are our new prices:

Special offer: Upgrade to an annual Deputy Premium subscription before 1 June 2024, and lock in a discounted rate of $6.00 plus GST per user/per month (charged annually) for the next 12 months.
Why is Deputy increasing its prices?
Over the past year, we've invested in enhancing Deputy services to provide you with an even better workforce management solution. These investments include new features, improved functionality, and heightened security. Read more about what we’ve improved at Deputy.
This price adjustment will help us sustain and accelerate these efforts, ensuring that we consistently meet your evolving needs.
Like many businesses, we are also not immune to increasing operating costs, which have also contributed to the price of your Deputy plan.
When does the price change come into effect?
The changes are effective from 1st June 2024. The new pricing will be reflected in your June invoice (posted in July).
Will my subscription be automatically renewed at the new rate?
Yes, changes will automatically take effect 1st June 2024. The new pricing will be reflected in your June invoice (posted in July) for monthly subscriptions, and in your next billing cycle for annual subscriptions.
Who is impacted?
Which countries are impacted by the price change?
The price change is applicable to all Australian accounts with a URL ending in .au.deputy.com. If you pay in AUD you are subject to the price change.
Which subscriptions are impacted by the price change?
This price change is applicable to the following subscription types:
- Premium Monthly
- Premium Annual
- Timesheet & Attendance
- Scheduling
This price change excludes Flexi and Enterprise customers.
Does the price apply to existing customers?
Yes, this price change impacts existing customers. The changes are effective from 1st June 2024. The new pricing will be reflected in your June invoice (posted in July).
I just signed up to Deputy. Am I subject to the price change?
All existing customers who signed up to Deputy from 1st January 2024 until 31st May 2024 will continue to pay the current rate until 1st December 2024. Starting on 1st December 2024 pricing will reflect the new rates.
I am currently in a Deputy free trial. Will I be impacted by the price change?
If you sign up for a Deputy paid subscription on or after 1st June 2024, your subscription price will reflect our new pricing. Sign up for a Deputy Premium subscription before 1st June 2024, and lock in the current rate until 1st December 2024.
How will I know if I’m impacted by the changes?
If you have been impacted by the changes, you would have received an email on April 30th outlining the impact to your account.

Discount options
Are there any discounts or promotions available to mitigate the impact of the price increase?
You are able to lock in the current rate for an extended period with the following options:
For monthly Premium customers:
Upgrade to an Annual Premium Plan before 1st June 2024, and lock in the current annual rate for 12 months.
For Scheduling or Time & Attendance customers:
- Upgrade to a Deputy Premium subscription before 1st June 2024.
OR
- Upgrade to an Annual Premium Plan before 1st June 2024, and lock in the current annual rate for 12 months.
For Annual Premium customers:
Annual Premium customers may renew their subscription up to 30 days before the annual renewal date. If your subscription is up for renewal on 1st June 2024 or earlier, you can renew your subscription early and lock in the existing rate for 12 months. There are no additional discount options available for Annual Premium customers.

If you have an existing concession with Deputy, we will continue to honor the discount rate on our new pricing structure.

What happens once my Annual Premium plan expires?
Once your Annual Premium plan expires your subscription will renew automatically with the new prices.
I’m a non-profit or registered charity. How do the pricing changes impact my organization?
If you have an existing concession with Deputy, we will continue to honor the discount rate on our new pricing structure.
Is there a minimum monthly spend?
Yes - there is a minimum monthly spend of AUD $25 per month per invoice on our monthly Premium, Scheduling and Time & Attendance plans. The minimum monthly spend helps cover our upfront set-up and ongoing support and technology costs. This includes any product demonstrations, training and 24/7 help and support required.
If you’d like to avoid the minimum monthly spend, consider switching to our Flexi or annual Premium plan.
