What is the best way to avoid interruption to my business during the first planned maintenance period?
Managers can avoid interruptions to their business during the Deputy planned maintenance by ensuring they are logged into Deputy before the maintenance period begins.
Your team members should be encouraged to ensure they have downloaded and logged into the Deputy mobile app before the maintenance period so that they can continue to start and end shifts and breaks as normal during the maintenance period.
What happens if I'm logged out during the first maintenance period and need to log in?
We recommend that you log into the Deputy website or mobile apps prior to the maintenance period to minimise interruption to your work day.
If you still need to log in during the maintenance period there is a way to do this using a web browser.
Rather than log in via Deputy's generic log-in page at deputy.com or once.deputy.com which will be unavailable during the maintenance period you can still log into Deputy via your unique Deputy business URL.

Can I log into the Deputy website via SSO during the first maintenance period?
Yes, you will be able to log in Deputy using SSO for our web application but it will not be possible to log into the Deputy mobile app with SSO during the maintenance period
Will my staff be able to start or end a shift or break in Deputy within the first maintenance period?
Yes, team members can start and end shifts and break via Deputy website and mobile apps as long as they were already logged into Deputy before the maintenance started.
What is the best way to avoid interruption to my business during the second maintenance period?
Managers, please advise your team members to clock into their shift prior to the maintenance period if possible. This timesheet will continue to run in the background & can be accessed at the completion of the maintenance.
However, during the maintenance, team members will not be able to access Deputy to check or update anything.
How will I know Deputy is fully functional again?
