Before you start
Please read Introduction to Deputy Hire for information on how to set up Deputy Hire for your organisation.
Ensure you are logged into the Deputy website as a user with System Administrators, Location Manager or Advisor access.
Note: There are some sample job listings and applicants pre-populated your Deputy HR account to demonstrate how it works - don't forget to delete these before sharing your Careers page publicly.
What is the Careers page?
Your Deputy Hire Careers page is a place you can showcase your workplace information and culture, spread the word about your job listings and provide a platform for your potential new hires to apply for the job!
You can edit this page to suit your organisation's needs.
Creating your public Careers page
In Deputy Hire, select Careers page from the left-hand side list.
Header
You can edit the name of your organisation by hovering over the name and clicking Edit.
You can upload or remove an image file for your organisation's logo to appear on your Careers page
Content block
You can edit the content block:
- change the content block label
- change the title and text about the kinds of people you are looking for
- upload or delete an image
You can also hide this content block if required by clicking on the Hide button that appears when you hover over the top right-hand side of the block.
Job listings
Job listings will appear on your Careers page once you create and publish them.
Footer
You can edit the footer:
- change the title and text that tells people all about your organisation
- upload or delete an image
- add links to your social media pages
You can also hide this content block if required by clicking on the Hide button that appears when you hover over the top right-hand side of the block.
Sharing your Careers page
Once you've customised your Careers page you are ready to share it with the world.
At the top of the Careers page, there is a URL link to the public page you can click on to view and share as required.
Share to socials
If you click Share you can also post the page on your Facebook or Twitter accounts.
Download a QR code or poster
If you click on QR code you can download an image file of a QR code that links to your Careers page when scanned.
Alternatively, you can download an image file of a poster to print and display. When potential new hires scan the WR code they will link to your Careers page.
Embed the careers page in another webpage
You can embed the Deputy Hire public-facing careers page in your own organisation's website if you prefer.
1. On the Careers page in Deputy Hire click Share then click on Embed and then </> Copy embed code .
2. Paste the code into your own website's text editor. You might find that your code will change slightly when pasting it, resulting in an error message. This can be fixed by pasting the code specifically into an HTML block.
4. Your public-facing careers page will be embedded and displayed on your webpage and new job listings will appear as they are published.
