From 1st May 2023, the Scheduling plan will be changing to standardise the features available in this plan across all the devices that you can use to access Deputy.
As a result, Deputy accounts on the Scheduling plan will no longer be able to use a mobile device to:
- to start or end shifts
- answer shift questions
- view, approve or create timesheets
- add or create journals
What should I do?
If you are on the Scheduling plan and want to continue to access these features you will need to upgrade to the Premium Monthly plan by 1st May 2023. For the first two months after you upgrade, you will only be billed at your current Scheduling plan costs but with access to all of Deputy Premium plan's features.
Note: If you are on the Scheduling plan and do not use any of the above-listed features then you don't need to do anything. Your plan will continue as usual.
How do I upgrade from Scheduling to Premium?
1. System Administrators signed into Deputy on the web and can click on their name in the top right-hand corner and select Account overview.
2. Click on Settings for the business you wish to upgrade to Premium.
3. Select Plan on the left-hand side and select Choose plan in the Premium column.

5. Confirm your plan change "Yes, let's change plan to Premium Monthly".
You will now have access to all of the features available on Deputy Premium.
If you upgraded before 1st May 2023, you will only be billed at your previous Scheduling plan rate for the first two months after the upgrade and then you will be billed for Premium Monthly after that.
