To apply for leave using the app, you must first ensure that you have downloaded and logged into the Deputy mobile app.

This article will cover applying for leave:
Applying for leave via the iOS Deputy app
1. On the Home tab, tap on Leave.
2. Here you will see your current leave requests. To add a new leave request, tap the + icon in the top right-hand corner.
3. In the next screen, please enter the date of the leave you wish to apply for. If you are requesting time off that is not a full day then toggle OFF the "All Day" option and enter the time of day.
4. Select a leave type, add some comments and which manager to notify.
5. Tap Done to complete the Leave Request and it will be sent to your manager.
You are able to change or cancel submitted leave requests on your iOS device until they have been approved by your manager.
After the leave has been approved you can no longer change or cancel it from your mobile Deputy app but may be able to change or cancel it by logging in via our Deputy web application.
Applying for leave via the Android Deputy app
1. On the Home tab, tap on Leave.
2. On this screen, you will see your current leave requests. Tap the + icon in the bottom right-hand corner to add a new request.
3. In the next screen, please enter the date of the leave you wish to apply for. If you are requesting time off that is not a full day then toggle OFF the "All Day" option and enter the time of day.
4. Select a leave type, add some comments and which manager to notify.
5. Tap '✔️ ' to complete the Leave Request and it will be sent to your manager.
You are able to change or cancel submitted leave requests on your mobile device until they have been approved by your manager.
