When the scheduling manager publishes shifts and chooses to notify by SMS, a text message is sent to the team member's phone to inform them of the published shifts. These SMS incur additional costs so some organisations may wish to minimise the number of characters sent in the SMS notification and thereby potentially reduce the cost of SMS messages sent.
Note: System Administrators also have the ability to completely restrict SMS from being sent from their account.
The setting to remove the work location details and area name from each SMS notification can be enabled or disabled for each location by the Location Manager or System Administrator.
On the Location page select the location you would like to edit and click on Scheduling then toggle ON or OFF the Display location and area name when publishing shifts via SMS. Click Save.
