Connecting Deputy to Lightspeed Kounta

  1. Go to Locations > Edit Settings for your chosen location
  2. Go to Notifications & Integrations
  3. Press Edit Services
  4. Find and select Lightspeed Kounta, press Continue
  5. Scroll to bottom of the list of integrations and press "Authorize" on any of the integrations
  6. Complete the Lightspeed Authorisation flow in the popup

Automatically importing your orders and sales into Deputy

  1. Navigate to Locations > Edit Settings for your chosen location
  2. Go to Notifications & Integrations
  3. Assuming you have connected with Deputy in the past, find "New Order > Create Sale" in the list of integrations and press "Activate"
  4. Choose a Lightspeed site to make to this Deputy location
  5. For each POS terminal you have in Lightspeed, you can choose which Area in Deputy they should be attributed to
  6. When you're done, press "Save"

After you Save, you can manually trigger this to run by pressing "Run Now" for the selected time period

Automatically importing new employees Deputy

When a new user has been created in Lightspeed, they will automatically be invited to join Deputy.

  1. Navigate to Locations > Edit Settings for your chosen location
  2. Go to Notifications & Integrations
  3. Assuming you have connected with Deputy in the past, find "New User > Add Employee" in the list of integrations and press "Activate"
  4. Press "Save"

After you Save, you can manually trigger this to run by pressing "Run Now" for the selected time period


Automatically importing timesheets from Lightspeed Kounta

  1. Navigate to Locations > Edit Settings for your chosen location
  2. Go to Notifications & Integrations
  3. Assuming you have connected with Deputy in the past, find "Timesheet > Sync Timesheet" in the list of integrations and press "Activate"
  4. From the dropdown, choose how you want timesheets in Deputy to be created. e.g. "Allocate to Matched Employee's Current Working Area" means it will find the employee with the same name in the Deputy schedule to see what area they worked in and allocate the Deputy timesheet to that area
  5. Press "Save"

After you Save, you can manually trigger this to run by pressing "Run Now" for the selected time period
