There are 8 sectors for Full-Time;

  • Full Time - Disability Services

  • Full Time - Shiftworker - Family Day Care
  • Full Time - Shiftworker - Home Care
  • Full Time - Shiftworker - Social and Community Services (Non-Disability Services) or Crisis Accommodation

There are 8 sectors for Part-Time  - Part Time Other Sectors are for employees who do not fit into any other Part Time option below;

  • Part Time - Other Sectors
  • Part Time - Disability Services or Home Care
  • Part Time - Shiftworker - Other Sectors
  • Part Time - Shiftworker - Disability Services or Home Care

There are 8 sectors for Casuals - Other Sectors are for employees who do not fit into any other option below;

  • Casual - Other Sectors - Must be paid for a minimum of 2 hours
  • Casual - Disability Services - Must be paid for a minimum of 2 hours
  • Casual - Home Care - Must be paid for a minimum of 1 hour
  • Casual - Social and Community Services - Must be paid for a minimum of 3 hours
  • Casual - Shiftworker - Other Sectors - Must be paid for a minimum of 2 hours
  • Casual - Shiftworker - Disability Services - Must be paid for a minimum of 2 hours
  • Casual - Shiftworker - Home Care - Must be paid for a minimum of 1 hour
  • Casual - Shiftworker - Social and Community Services - Must be paid for a minimum of 3 hours

This award is also built in with the Sleepover Allowance, to set this automation up, you will need to set the Sleepover Rate in the employee's profile. You will also need to set the areas as the following:

To add the allowances into the export please follow the below instructions;

Approve the timesheet, then unapprove the pay item.

Add in the shift loading and number of units/hours.

Approve the pay.

Conditions that have not been included

Who is affected - What should happen - Can this be done in Deputy

  • All Employees - Higher Duties: If an employee works at a higher classification, pay the higher rate - This can be don in Premium through Area based pay.
  • Part Time Employees - Overtime should be calculating at the employee's "Ordinary Hours" per week, rather than 38 hours. - This can be done in Enterprise.
  • All employees - Automated Allowances - This can be done in Enterprise.
